Residents Visit Humane Society

Today, three elders from Mallard Bay were able to give back to the community and reminisce about their beloved pets at the same time. Mary, Frieda, and Florence all took a trip to Baywater Animal Rescue to donate $50 and a homemade blanket for the animals. They, along with other residents, have been baking and selling homemade dog biscuits for the last several months. While at the humane society, they were able to play with a small puppy named Wishbone, and a larger dog named Jewels. They spent an hour remembering their pets and telling stories. They were also able to visit the cats in the cat condo. Everyone had a great time and the residents look forward to visiting the animals again and helping out wherever they can.
